Subject: You glued what contest

My son, Dakota R. Buydos, conducted his science project on the "Strength of Wood Glue" testing five different types of glue.  He glued pieces of wood together and then tested the weight at which each one pulled apart.   Weldbond held the most amount of weight.  Not only did Weldbond win, but my son did too, as he took first place in the San Jacinto Unified School District, San Jacinto, CA of all 4th grade classes.  He received a medal and a certificate.  I have enclosed two pictures of him and his project at the ceremony.  I have also included his powerpoint presentation that shows the data collected.  He did not use digital photos, so he could not incorporate them into the actual presentation. The photos were 35 mm and glued on the science board.  If you would like additional digital photos of the board, I can take some and send them in.

Thanks.

Gerald J. Buydos
